From professional athletes to daily fitness, Melisa and Tate have decades of experience guiding people to their fitness and athletic goals.
Melisa Hiebert
In 2003, Melisa left her corporate career to pursue her passion for fitness. With years of athletic and fitness education on her resume, she was immediately hired at The Sports Club Los Angeles / Beverly Hills and was quickly promoted to their elite group of Advantage Trainers.
Ten years later Melisa and Tate opened 310 Fitness to realize their dream of bringing a private one-on-one training experience to their clients. Over the last 19 years, Melisa has been fortunate to work with clients of all levels and backgrounds - high level business people, an elite hockey player, a world record pilot, women with Muscular Dystrophy and Multiple Sclerosis, and more. If you have a fitness goal, Melisa can help you reach it.
Melisa specializes in incorporating a variety of strength training techniques, appropriate flexibility, and corrective exercises for optimal results. She has a certificate in Fitness Instruction from The University of California Los Angeles, and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.

When she’s not learning the latest fitness trends, training clients, or riding her mountain bike, Melisa can be found woodworking or fixing yet another thing at her house.
Tate Maloy
Born and raised in the foothills of Sequoia National Park, Tate has spent most of his life involved in sports and recreational activities. In college, he competed on both cross-country and track teams. After graduating college, Tate participated in an Exercise Physiology Lab internship at the National Institute of Health. He now has over 28 years of private training experience, which includes being the Fitness Director of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Advantage Trainer at the Sports Club Los Angeles / Beverly Hills and the co-owner of 310 Fitness.
Tate’s passion for health and fitness is the reason he became a personal fitness trainer. To further express his exercise views, Tate has been quoted in numerous publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, In Touch Magazine, E! Online, and has also appeared on the television show Extra as a fitness expert.
Tate uses an integrated functional approach by applying the principles of balance, flexibility, and core strength to improve the overall quality of life. Tate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. He is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.

You will find Tate and Sasha (his dog) commuting to work via bike most days of the week. Weekends are often spent riding to the beach for amazing coffee or mountain bike riding and then getting amazing coffee!
